About Newton Roofing

Newton Roofing & Trade Services Ltd is a small family owned company operating in the Greater Wellington region including Wellington Central, Porirua, Lower Hutt, Upper Hutt, Wairarapa and the Kapiti Coast.

We specialise in leak repairs and roofing maintenance, with the aim of extending the life of your roof. Some other services we provide include;

ALEX Newton

Alex is the owner of Newton Roofing which he started in June 2017 and has over 8 years of experience in the industry himself. Alex started Newton Roofing as he wanted to create a company where staff would feel valued and that clients would be looked after from the start to the finish of every job. Alex’s role these days is to make sure the ship sails smoothly by focussing on the overall running of the business.

SCOTTY Reiri

Scotty has been with Newton for over 2 years and is known fondly as the “Matua” of the crew, bringing lot’s of laughs and strong guidance on jobs. Scotty is a fully qualified carpenter and completes all our QC ( Quality Control) work and LBP (Licenced Building Practitioner) work. Scotty overseas both teams to ensure the high standard of work people expect from Newton Roofing is being upheld.

In his own time Scotty loves all outdoor sports especially fishing and diving.

Newton Team

Following on from Alex’s desire to have a business where staff would feel valued and have a place, he has grown the business to consist of 2 teams and hopes to continue to grow and offer more opportunities in the future.
Each team consists of 1 team leader and 1 apprentice working towards their Roofing qualification.
